Direct Vent Gas Inserts
Our collection of fireplace inserts are from Mendota, Regency and Lennox. The luxury fireplace inserts from Mendota are of their classic D-series and their new Fullview inserts. Lennox offers insert from their Dave Lennox Signature collection, Elite and Merit Series. We will only show the Signature series and Elite series on our site but you can see all they have to offer on the official Lennox website. Regency offers various inserts that will fit any size fireplace even those really small ones. Gas insert are full units that are inserted into the fireplace and require their own venting. The venting consists of 2 aluminum flex pipes; one which takes out the exhaust and the other which brings in fresh air to the unit. The last component of the vent system is the special termination cap that is attached on top of the chimney which seperates the exhaust and the fresh air intake. Gas insert are always sealed units with glass fronts. The biggest difference between gas inserts and gas logs is that an insert can be used as a heater. They are great as zone heaters and gas logs are mainly for aestetics and ambiance.

Mendota is a branch of Johnson Gas Corp. out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa founded in 1901. Their gas fireplace are Luxury fireplaces, they are of the highest quality and are manufactored to look like the most realistic gas fireplace that has all the bells and whistles. We personally believe that Mendota has the most realistic fire in the industry and with an 86.4% efficeincy rating these fireplace are truely top of the line. Their whole line of units are "certified" as heater rated. All of there units included built in blowers, brick refractories and are remote capable. They have won "Best of Show" at the national hearth products association expo multiple times and were also awarded by consumers digest magazine as the "best buy" of all gas fireplaces in Oct. 1997 issue. They offer 23 different fronts to dress up your fireplace so it can compliment any decor. Lennox Gas Inserts
Lennox groups their gas inserts into 3 different categories ; Dave Lennox Signature Collection, Elite Series and Merit Series. The Shoreline is a fullview unit that falls under there signature series and offers a larger viewing area with the flexibility to fit into various size fireplaces. The Elite Series is composed of 2 inserts the Ravenna and the Designer insert they both offer a unique cast front which is perfect for dressing up a Traditional New England style home. The Merit series is rounded off with the Firestar and the Medina. While the units vary in style and size one thing that stays constant with the Lennox line of gas inserts is the heat output. They are great heat producers , most offering up to 2000 sq. ft. heating capacity while boosting efficiencies as high a 84%. All units are factory stocked with blowers and are sure to add warmth to any home. On top of that Lennox offers many different fronts and interior brick options. Regency Gas Inserts
Regency is a Canadian company based out of Vancouver they offer various size fireplace inserts to fit any size firebox. They also have a wide variety of designs even ones that offer a more modern look. The Sunrise insert displays crystals or spa stones instead of logs to offer a sleek modern design. They offer the flexibility to dressup an insert with various different brick panels, blowers, remotes and doors. They are backed by a great limited lifetime warrenty which supports their quality and construction.
